The Schoolyard as an Inclusive City

A collaboration with local schools exploring how playground design influences play patterns between girls and boys. Using spatial mapping and observation, we identified how design choices support or limit inclusive play.

The study forms part of a wider European collaboration and will inform Echo’s Inclusive Design Framework for architects and municipalities.
